Butterwick Hospice Care is the largest independent Hospice serving the areas of the Tees Valley, County Durham, North Yorkshire and Wearside.
Butterwick Hospice is a registered charity which exists to freely provide specialist pain and symptom control, complementary therapies, counselling and bereavement care to adults and children suffering from life limiting illnesses. The Charity also freely provides supportive services to patients’ families and friends.
Butterwick Hospice strives to deliver the highest quality of care and comfort from 3 hospices based in Stockton on Tees and Bishop Auckland, 3 Outreach Day Hospices in Sedgefield, Barnard Castle and Stanhope and also directly into patients’ own homes.
Butterwick Hospice seeks support from the corporate sector in the communities it serves. In return, the Charity strives to raise the profile of the businesses that support its work and enables them to be aligned with a high profile and well respected local charity.
