PD Ports - a Butterwick Corporate Partner

Graham Leggatt-Chidgey, Chief Executive is delighted to welcome David Robinson, Chief Executive of PD Ports as a new Corporate Partner of the Hospice. 

 

PD Ports owns and runs the Port of Tees and Hartlepool where it operates as the Statutory Harbour Authority. Teesport is currently the fourth largest port in the UK by tonnage, and each year handles almost 40 million tonnes of goods, mainly through containers and bulk traffic. PD Ports employs over 1200 members of staff across its various UK bases.

 

In 2010 David Robinson, Chief Executive, PD Ports organised a Cricket Tournament at Hutton Rudby Cricket Ground and raised £1,600 for the Hospice.

 

This year PD Ports is sponsoring all trophies and entering a team of eight at the Butterwick Cricket Tournament on 16thSeptember at the Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground.
