Kaye Rideout from Avanta takes a tour of the Hospice

Kaye Rideout, Regional Director North, from Avanta in Middlesbrough visited the Hospice in July to attend a Breakfast Meeting.

Over fifty local companies joined Butterwick Partners and Corporate Supporters for an informal meeting.

The Breakfast Meeting is a great opportunity to meet new and established business contacts. Visitors listened to our guest speaker Martin Griffiths whose wife Judy died in the Hospice in 2009. Visitors also heard that the Hopsice provides care of the highest quality, freely, to over 300 local patients and their families 24 hours a day, 356 days a year.

After the meeting Kaye confirmed that she hopes that Avanta would become a Corporate Partner in time for our next Partner's Reception at Wynyard Park on Friday, 4th November.

Anne Cooling and Kaye enjoyed a tour of the Hospice which included the Butterwick Children's House Hospice. Kaye was hugely impressed by the facilities and respite care provided to children who live in Teesside, County Durham, Wearside and North Yorkshire.

Kaye was pleased to say that both she and the staff of Avanta look forward to working with Butterwick Hospice Care in the future.
