Pertemps People Development Group Become a Butterwick Corporate Supporter
Pertemps People Development Group (PPDG) has cemented its reputation as one of the region’s leading community support initiatives by recently announcing it is to become one of Butterwick Hospice’s Corporate Supporters with a £1000 per annum donation to the charity. As a Corporate Supporter to Butterwick Hospice – which has three hospices in the region and provides specialist palliative care to children and adults with life limiting illnesses the company will also help to provide fundraising opportunities.
Anne Cooling, Butterwick Hospice Care, Head of Corporate Development, said: “We are delighted to welcome Pertemps as a Corporate Supporter and we are very grateful for their commitment to Butterwick Hospice which provides invaluable end of life care to local people and aims to improve the quality of life for patients and their families; to help them relate positively to all the challenges encountered during their illness.”

In recognition of its charitable support, the organisation was designated a finalist in the CSR and Environment category at the recent NCJ North East Business Awards. Nationally, more than 200 individual charitable, educational and voluntary organisations have benefited the £80,000 PPDG has donated through it payroll giving and fundraising initiatives in recent years.
The employment initiative – which has offices in Middlesbrough, Redcar and Thorntree - has been running employment zone in Teesside for more than five years during which time has placed 5700 formerly unemployed people into secure jobs.
